Sabah launches its own MM2H program on 1 July, taking responsibility for application processing and offering high-rise units for applicants.

Sabah launches its own version of Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme, with applications opening on 1 July, after over a month of disputes with the Federal Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry. Sabah will have its own qualified panels to process applications, shifting responsibility from agents approved by the Federal Ministry to Sabah's representatives. The State Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry oversees the programme in Sabah, with 3,000 high-rise units priced at RM600,000 and above available for applicants.
