Eduardo Hernandez, a man who escaped from a Northern California prison in 2011, was arrested in New York City after more than 13 years on the run. Hernandez was sentenced in 2005 for carjacking with the use of a firearm and had been serving a 13-year sentence when he fled from the Delta Conservation Camp in Solano County in 2011. He is set to be extradited back to California for further proceedings.
