NDLEA seizes 6,125 cartons of codeine syrup, worth over N7.35bn, in Rivers State, marking the third significant codeine consignment interception in four weeks. The seizure, made from six containers on June 29, 2024, was aided by credible intelligence and joint efforts with the Port Harcourt Ports Command and other security agencies. Two passengers were also arrested at Lagos airport for ingesting cocaine.
