Montreal Canadiens have picked Aatos Koivu, son of former captain Saku Koivu, at 70th overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old centreman from Turku played for TPS in the Finnish league last season and compares himself to fellow Finn Sebastian Aho. Koivu will stay in Finland for further training and will not attend the Canadiens' development camp.
