Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) begins the next phase of a $27 million project to rebuild US-12/M-51 interchange in Niles. Starting July 1, one lane of M-51 will reopen in each direction as crews work on northbound lanes, including upgrades, base replacement, and paving. Work on US-12 to rebuild the US-12/3rd Street intersection is set for August, with specific dates to be shared based on progress.
