Artists in Goa form a new organization, Kala Rakhonn Mandd, to protest the alleged poor renovation of Kala Academy. The group will launch a statewide movement starting from July 2, with demands for a white paper on the repairs and a joint meeting with Goa's Chief Minister and Art and Culture Minister. Kala Academy, designed by architect Charles Correa, is a premier art and culture center in Goa.
