40-gallon cement truck spill shuts down most of Northbound 710 Freeway in Lynwood. The mishap occurred on the Long Beach Freeway just south of Imperial Highway. All but one northbound lane was closed while crews cleaned up the spill. The driver was not injured but was taken to the hospital for precautionary measures. The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert, then later reopened the fast lane.
