Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert scored a 1-2 finish at the Los Alamitos Derby with Wynstock winning by a nose over Cornell, marking his eighth consecutive victory in the Grade 2 race. Ridden by Kyle Frey, Wynstock completed the 1 1/8 miles in 1:50.51, while Cornell returned $3.40. Baffert's winning streak in the Los Alamitos Derby now spans eight years.
