Edmonton Elks selected receiver Zach Mathis in the CFL supplemental draft, trading their 2025 first-round pick for the North Dakota State University player. Mathis, a six-foot-seven, 203-pound receiver, recently completed his Canadian citizenship and had 46 catches, 665 yards, and six TDs in 13 starts last season. The Elks also acquired defensive tackle Antonio Alfano in May's CFL supplemental draft.
