China's first commercial space launch site, located on Hainan Island, is now ready for rocket launches after completing evaluations and key infrastructure projects. The Hainan International Commercial Aerospace Launch Co., Ltd., which built and operates the site, plans for its first rocket launch in the second half of this year. The site was established in June 2022 and includes two launch pads for operations.
