Biman Bangladesh Airlines plans to expand its fleet to 47 aircraft by 2034 and increase cargo revenue.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines, under new MD & CEO Jahid Islam Bhuiyan, plans to expand its fleet from 21 to 47 aircraft by 2034, and aims to resolve ticketing issues and improve on-time performance. Discussions with Airbus are underway and a Boeing proposal is being considered. The airline also targets earning Tk 1,200 crore in cargo revenue in the current financial year.
