Telangana: Senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha member Dharampuri Srinivas passed away on June 29 after a prolonged illness. Srinivas, 76, had served as a Minister in undivided Andhra Pradesh and twice headed the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee. He is survived by his wife and two sons, one of whom is a BJP MP from Nizamabad and the other a former mayor of the city.
