88-year-old fell running legend Joss Naylor, MBE, known as the "King of the Fells," passed away.

88-year-old Joss Naylor, known as the "King of the Fells" for his record-breaking achievements in fell running, has passed away. Naylor, a sheep farmer, exceeded the Lake District 24-hour record three times and completed fastest known times for the Three Peaks, Welsh 3,000ers, and Pennine Way. Naylor was also an MBE for services to sport and charity and raised over £40,000 for the youth charity Brathay Trust through his long-distance races.
