1-year-old girl from Cedar Rapids, Iowa dies in a car crash on June 27, 2024, in Marion County, Missouri. Jamie H. Stringer, 28, from Cedar Rapids, was driving southbound on Highway 61 when the vehicle ran off the road, struck an embankment, overturned, and came to rest in the median. None of the occupants were wearing seat belts or had the children secured in car seats. A 1-year-old girl died at the scene, while Jamie Stringer and four other passengers sustained injuries, with three of them being airlifted or transported to hospitals.
