On June 28, an unexploded WWII ordnance was found during construction at Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, near the future Teck Ghee MRT station site. Police and the Singapore Armed Forces' Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit safely assessed and removed the relic for disposal, posing no danger to the public. Similar relics have been found due to inaccurate bombing during WWII in Singapore.
