A suspected vandal was electrocuted in Enugu while attempting to steal armoured cables from an Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) transformer, highlighting the increasing rate of vandal attacks that have impacted service quality and revenue for the company. EEDC's Head of Corporate Communications, Emeka Ezeh, urged stakeholders and customers to join forces with the company to protect electrical facilities in their communities.
