Former Northeastern University employee, Jason Duhaime, has been convicted of staging a hoax explosion and fabricating a story about being injured after opening a package delivered to the university's campus in Boston in 2022. Duhaime was found guilty of intentionally conveying false information related to an explosive device and two counts of making materially false statements to a federal law enforcement agent. His sentencing is scheduled for October 2.
