Nestle CEO, Markus Schneider, expects stable sales growth from Q2 as cost inflation subsides.
Swiss food giant Nestle aims for stable sales growth from Q2 through the rest of the year, as cost inflation subsides, according to its CEO, Markus Schneider. Nestle, the maker of Nespresso, KitKat, and Perrier, reported a 5.9% decline in first-quarter sales but a 1.4% increase when adjusted for currency swings. Schneider expressed confidence that the company has overcome challenges from cost inflation and reduced sales volumes, leading to a stabilization in its situation.
