Michelle Miller Burns, former president and CEO of the Minnesota Orchestra, has been appointed as the new president and CEO of the Dallas Symphony, effective from 23 September. She succeeds Kim Noltemy, who is now the president and CEO of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Burns previously held the COO position at the Dallas Symphony before her stint in Minnesota, where she led the orchestra's growth in revenue and programming.
