A man was arrested for a fatal assault on Frankston Pier, Melbourne, where an unknown victim died.
A man has been arrested in relation to a fatal assault on Frankston Pier, southeast Melbourne, following reports of an assault at 6am. The victim, who was found injured and unresponsive on the pier, died at the scene. The arrested man, from no fixed address, is assisting police with their inquiries. Homicide detectives are investigating and believe the parties involved were not known to each other.
