Federal judge Richard Young has issued a preliminary injunction blocking Indiana's law requiring age verification for porn websites, scheduled to take effect on 1 July. The judge has labelled the law "likely unconstitutional" and stated that it fails to sufficiently protect minors from harmful obscene speech. The law would have required porn websites to verify users' ages by scanning a driver's license or registering with a third-party verification service.
