80+ dolphins were stranded on a difficult-to-access beach near Wellfleet, Massachusetts, on Friday. The area, known as Great Island at the Herring River, has dangerous mud. The International Fund for Animal Welfare is assisting with the stranding and plans to triage and support the distressed dolphins before attempting to refloat and herd them back into deeper water.
