Delayed Glen Sannox ferry, over budget and behind schedule, now expected to deliver in mid-August due to gas system commissioning and LNG propulsion issues.
The delayed Glen Sannox ferry, which is over budget and behind schedule, will now be delivered in mid-August. The dual-fuel ship's gas systems are still being commissioned and issues with its liquefied natural gas (LNG) propulsion system have been the main problem. Glen Sannox and its sister ship Glen Rosa were originally due for delivery in 2018. Both ferries are destined for CalMac's Arran route.
