Alberta's government, in partnership with Siksika First Nation, is developing a $35M recovery community, owned and operated by the band, to provide essential services to Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients. The Siksika Recovery Community will offer 76 long-term treatment beds and support 300 people annually, focusing on health, relationships, and skills improvement. This is part of a larger initiative to create 11 recovery communities across Alberta.
