Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy signed the state budget, keeping $175M in extra school funding and vetoing over $230M from the operating and capital budgets passed by state lawmakers. The spending plan includes a $1,700 Permanent Fund dividend per eligible Alaskan and nearly $175M in one-time education funding, while over $60M was included for school maintenance projects. Dunleavy vetoed over $105M from the operating budget and over $126M from the capital budget.
