Acadia National Park receives a $23M grant to transition its bus fleet to electric. Downeast Transportation, the company operating the buses, was awarded the funding to replace 21 propane-fueled buses in the active fleet with electric vehicles and add two more electric buses. This move will support both the park's increased visitor traffic and Maine's climate goals.
