44-year-old Toby Loughnane has been found guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Maryam Hamka, in Melbourne, Australia. Prosecutors claimed Loughnane killed the 36-year-old after months of violent assaults and threats. He buried her body in a shallow grave in Cape Schanck, southeast of Melbourne, which he led authorities to in August 2023. Loughnane will face a pre-sentence hearing at a later date.
