26-year-old Elijah Melton and 25-year-old Kareem Pires indicted in Rhode Island for plotting to kill federal prosecutors and a witness in a drug case.

26-year-old Elijah Melton and 25-year-old Kareem Pires, both of Massachusetts, have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Rhode Island on charges including conspiracy to commit use of interstate commerce facilities in commission of murder-for-hire. The men allegedly plotted to kill two federal prosecutors and a witness in a drug case. They will be arraigned at a later date in the US District Court in Providence.
