With a career spanning over five decades, Cobbs appeared in nearly 200 film and television projects, including "Air Bud," "The Bodyguard," "New Jack City," "The Drew Carey Show," and "Star Trek: Enterprise." Born in Cleveland, Cobbs began his acting career in Cleveland's Karamu House, a historic Black theatre. He later moved to New York and joined the Negro Ensemble Company.
