Warren Buffett donated $5.3 billion of Berkshire Hathaway stock to five charities in his largest annual donation since 2006. The donation includes 13 million Berkshire Class B shares, with 9.93 million going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the remainder going to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, and three other charities led by Buffett's children. Buffett plans to give away more than 99% of his fortune built at Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire, where he has been CEO since 1965.
