UK tourists are warned about a potentially deadly disease after finding tiger mosquitoes, native to Asia and known to spread dengue fever, Zika virus, and yellow fever, in popular Spanish holiday spots Mallorca and Menorca. Officials are using helicopters to spray pesticides in an attempt to eradicate the insects. These mosquitoes feed throughout the day and can pass infections to humans when they bite.
