Thieves stole thousands of dollars' worth of firefighting equipment from U.S. Forestry trucks in Grants Pass, OR, while crews were resting during the Upper Applegate Fire. Stolen items included Hotshot backpacks, emergency fire shelters, headlamps, compasses, firing sticks, signal mirrors, first aid kits, water bottles, and two Stihl chainsaws. Police are asking anyone with information to call 541-450-6260.
