4 people were injured in a Brooklyn apartment fire, with one in life-threatening condition. The fire began near a lithium-ion battery and spread to two adjoining apartments and two stores. An e-bike was found near the origin, but its role in causing the fire is under investigation. Lithium-ion battery fires have caused 46 injuries and one death this year. FDNY is still investigating the cause.
