Odisha govt approves Rs 903.41 crore for renewable energy, including 48-MW and 49.5-MW wind energy projects.

The Odisha government has approved Rs 903.41 crore worth of investment proposals in the renewable energy sector. The Single Window Committee (SWC) approved a 48-MW wind energy project by HPCL Renewable & Green Energy Ltd in Umerkote, Nabarangpur district and a 49.5-MW wind energy project by ONGC Tripura Power Company Ltd in Astaranga, Puri district. The investments aim to help Odisha meet its 10 GW renewable energy target by 2030.
