Mātātoa CrossFit Competition, celebrating Te Reo Māori in fitness, takes place on 29 June 2024 at Spark Arena, Auckland. Organized by Kapa-Kingi triplets Tipene, Heemi, and Eru, the functional fitness event aims to promote and normalize te reo Māori within the CrossFit community. In its third year, the competition sold out within two hours, featuring 288 athletes in 144 teams.
