Mitsubishi Electric delivers first overseas smart-meter system to Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom.

Mitsubishi Electric has delivered its first overseas smart-meter system project to Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom, in cooperation with Glory Technology Service. The system, provided to Taiwan Power Company, uses a mesh network for wide-area communication and is based on low-cost methods. It received high evaluations in Japan for connectivity, scalability, security, and stability, leading to the order.
