13 people, including two children, were killed, and four others injured in a van-lorry collision in Haveri district, Karnataka, India. The accident occurred at 3:45 am on Friday when the van collided with a parked lorry on National Highway 48 in Byadagi Taluk. The victims were traveling from Chincholi Mayamma Devasthana to their native village in Shivamogga district. The injured have been admitted to Haveri Government Hospital.
