27 Jigawa State local government elected councils dissolved due to term expiration, DAGS to take over administration.
Jigawa State government has dissolved the elected councils of 27 local governments due to expiration of terms. Directors of Administration and General Services (DAGS) have been directed to take over the administration. All other appointed officials, including secretaries, supervisory councillors, special advisers, and assistants, are also relieved of their appointments.
