IFC approves $400m debt financing for PTCL to acquire Telenor Pakistan and Orion Towers.
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has approved a $400 million debt financing over 7 years for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to acquire Telenor Pakistan and Orion Towers. This deal is expected to be completed by 31st July and has been approved by PTCL's board of directors. The IFC-led consortium includes the Silk Road Fund (SRF) and British International Investment plc (BII).
