French media baron Arnaud Lagardere, accused of embezzlement, was reinstated as CEO of his eponymous group after a favourable court decision. Lagardere, who sold the company to Vivendi in November, had been temporarily barred from management positions due to alleged misuse of corporate funds at some non-Lagardere group companies. The 63-year-old secured a "partial lifting of the ban measure" and stated it was a "great joy" to resume his position.
