A head-on collision on Highway 1 in West Vancouver resulted in two fatalities and temporarily closed the road. The incident occurred late Wednesday night when a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes near Westport Road caused the crash. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service is investigating the accident. The closure led to delays at the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, causing at least one sailing to be postponed.
