Environmental group River Action finds high E.coli levels in River Thames ahead of Henley Royal Regatta.

The environmental group, River Action, discovered alarming levels of E. coli bacteria from sewage in the River Thames, where the Henley Royal Regatta is set to take place next week. Test results found up to 25,000 colony-forming units of E. coli per 100 milliliters of water, over 27 times higher than the level graded as poor bathing waters.
