China invites scientists globally to study lunar samples from its historic Chang'e 6 mission, but notes limitations on US collaboration due to the Wolf Amendment that prevents direct bilateral cooperation with NASA. China has previously cooperated with the European Space Agency, France, Italy, and Pakistan in the mission. The Chang'e 6 probe marked the first time a probe had successfully taken off and returned samples from the far side of the moon directly.
