Alex Munter, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) CEO for over a decade, is stepping down to become the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) CEO. Munter led CHEO through financial challenges and the pandemic, and will continue supporting pediatric physicians and CHEO while working with other healthcare organizations at CMA. CHEO's board plans to recruit a successor in the coming months.
