Audi Formula Racing's new Formula 1 power unit runs dynamically on test bench after two years of development.

Audi Formula Racing has achieved significant milestones in its incoming Formula 1 power unit, according to CEO Adam Baker and CTO Stefan Dreyer. After two years of development, the power unit, including combustion engine, electric motor, battery, and control electronics, is running dynamically on the test bench, covering simulated race distances. Audi is set to replace Sauber on the F1 grid in 2026.
