Airdrie RCMP officer cleared by ASIRT in June 2020 forceful arrest: An Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) investigation has cleared an Airdrie RCMP officer who used force to subdue an uncooperative suspect in Linden, Central Alberta, on June 30, 2020. The officer was justified in using a minor amount of force to overcome the suspect's resistance and make the arrest. The suspect's charges were later withdrawn.
