26-year-old Michigan mom Derricka Fleming has received a five-year probation sentence after her 5-year-old son Lamar Mitchell was found frozen to death in a park. Fleming had pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter in April and faced up to 15 years in prison. Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido's office requested incarceration, but Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Kathryn Viviano chose probation instead.
