17-year-old Hrishit Kumar Agrawal, a medical aspirant from Bihar, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Kota, a coaching hub for NEET. This marks the 12th case of a coaching student suicide in Kota since January. Agrawal was preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at a coaching institute in the city. The number of student suicides in Kota reached 26 in 2023.
