4th arrest made in connection to June 23 assault on O'Connell Street, Dublin; victim in serious condition.
Gardaí have made their fourth arrest in connection to an assault in Dublin that left a man in his 40s in serious condition. The incident occurred on O'Connell Street and Cathal Brugha Street on June 23. A man in his 20s was arrested on June 27 and is being held in a Dublin station under the Criminal Justice Act. A man in his 30s was previously arrested and later released without charge. The victim remains in the hospital, and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or camera footage from the area.
