An E.coli outbreak in the UK has led to one death and 275 confirmed cases as of June 25, according to the UK Health Security Agency. The agency identified two people in England who died within 28 days of infection with shiga toxin-producing E.coli (STEC). The outbreak is believed to be caused by some supermarket sandwiches containing salad leaves. Several food manufacturers have issued recalls for some of their products as a precautionary measure.
